Crazy things our children do,
just to get a look or two,
Like say things beyond compare,
just to make others stare,
The things they say with out a thought,
are not things they were ever taught,
Its always in a grocery store or mall,
Or in front of teachers in the school hall,
No matter what ,they learn from what they say,
I keep telling myself this every day,
Theres times I laugh and try to correct,
very embarrassed dont forget,
All the more their kids I say,
and I would'nt trade mine any day!

| lol. kids 1 million points and parents 0 =] as it should be. this made me think of all the things ive done to embarrass my mother. such fond memories and the punishments i actually survived through. |

Christina, this was darling....well written and love every word of it! Montie was that type of child.....in all innocence, he would say something at the wrong moment, and the wrong place.............there I stood with a red face, in total disgrace. I finally decided not to explain........because most of the time.....my explaining made it even worse!!!
Brace yourself dear, it doesn't get better....as they grow taller they come up with things that will "wing" ya!

Nicely written, warmly received. Oh, for the good ol days, when there were only seven doses of embarrassment running loose with fast moving mouths, and no restraints. Now that they’re grown, we’ve been blessed (?) with thirty-two carbon copied clones of DNA inspired humiliation experts. They never stop coming!
