Fleur de Sang...

Contributed by FleurdeSang on Monday, 20th September 2004 @ 10:01:23 AM in AEST
Topic: DreamsandWishes

Ive dreamt of a place that was closest to Heaven
Ive dreamt of dwelling in your arms,
Kissing your lips,
Gazing into those eyes that melts my heart
I have slept so long,
And I have dreamt so many dreams,
Yet, would they ever come true?
And if they did, will you stay with me till the end?
The subconscious mind, such a beautiful and complex place
Thoughts of you, happenings of the past,
That horrible, obscure past of mine
Images and words,
All woven into one brilliant web of surreal splendor
Enchanting, enticing, a sweet caress these words you speak
You, dark angel that is cloaked with the Night,
The moon, my Muse,
Sacrifices her luminosity,
And places it in your ebony locks
There you stand, high and royal,
Before me, great god, creature of the Shadows
Master that is mine, lover that is mine, bittersweet dream that is mine
Never end, beautiful slumber,
Embellish my corrupted mind with your image,
Rest in my soul for all eternity
Flowers of all sorts surround you,
A sea of endless beauty, beyond compare
The reddest of roses,
The sweetest of smells
A graceful sweep of a hand,
You hide it teasingly behind your back
Curiosity gets the better half of me
Gradually, cautiously, I venture closer to you,
A part of me fearing this,
For I have gone through this before
Merciless deceit, relentless treason, feigned kindness,
Only the unbearable yearning to take away my purity,
To leave me tainted and broken on the floor...
A reassuring smile brightens your pallid complexion,
Ridding me of all doubt and apprehension
I am before you now,
You that overpowers me with just one look,
Gracious master that makes this lifeless heart beat again
The mystery is revealed,
You present your precious gift to me
A flower, one of the many that surrounded us,
But this one was diverse from the rest
More beautiful, more pleasant, more enigmatic
This is my gift to you, my dearest love A blood flower; she binds two souls together forever,
Entwining two essences into one marvelous spirit
I am consumed with joy and love for you,
Words are lost, thoughts a blur, heart aflutter
Fleur de sang, shall be your name.
Mon beau, cher plus Fleur de sang You are my flower that bounds your soul to mine;
You have my soul and heart to claim
With this, you end you gorgeous speech with a tantalizing kiss,
Leaving me limp in your arms, weeping tears, the song of past rains
Alas, the dream ends, and I am left in a boundless sea of love for that perplexing man,
And relentless inspiration
My name was given to me in a dream, a dream that will continue forever
Eternally reminding me of what I am, of who I am, of whom I love, and will always love

Wonderful words that open a window into the spirit and soul of the most beautiful of all flowers. Thank you for this glimpse into your dreams, and for sharing the birth of your name. It was a fabulous read. Another I will read over and over again.
