it doesn't hurt anymore
i can't feel the pain
the tears flow no more
and i can't feel anything
not the hate for being myself
not the pain from my broken heart
not the resentment because I compare you to HER
not the anger for trying to be different
i'm numb to it all
even the blade against my throat
oblivious to the darkness
reaching from lost emotion
uncaring to the cool flames of hate
from you, from them
i'm numb
