The End Before You
All paths in life
Lead one way
A dead end
Is always up ahead
No matter which paths
Were taken
Detours can only be used
Till there're none left
And then you face
The end of the road
When you have the most to live for
But it doesn't matter anymore
There isn't a wrong path to take
You'll end up here anyway
The journey is more important
Than the destination
And each path has its pain
That you'll live through
Till you reach the road
That's the end before you

| wow, you're right: we do write similarly. though yours seem to reach a level that I can't, and that's truely amazing. I hope you keep up everything you do, becuase it's all so great. |

I always write about the wrong road wishing to choose the right path, but I think you changed my way of thinking they all lead to the same place the journey more important then the destination. Awesome thank you

It was a very good write, but I don't believe what you say. You say that no matter what you're already destined to end up in the place you are now.
I may be assuming too much, but it seems that you're in a place of sorrow, or depression, or even anger. Something negative. That's not true for everyone, even if you think that no matter what happens people will eventually be lead down a path where they'll always be sad. That's not true.
If you live each day being happy with yourself, and accepting the world around you, if you live each day to the fullest always making sure you're getting the most out of life and not sulking all by yourself, if you live each day with no regrets, you don't have to end up where you are.
There are many paths, many ARE wrong because they just seem to make the person more bitter, more sad. THESE are the wrong paths, the wrong choices. You are this way only because you choose to be. There are many better paths, and each one leads to something better. Your mind just doesn't want to see them yet. |
