Poison and Rain

Contributed by xfrozenwindx on Wednesday, 22nd September 2004 @ 09:02:23 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

She sat alone in silence.
The foggy air all around.
Her only friend was solitude.
With her in this muddy mound.

It isn't different from the past,
for she always stayed this way.
No one wanted to understand her,
Till they knew of this ground she lay.

Her life was full of pain and grief.
People would tease and stare.
So she learned to lead a life like this,
With out anyone anywhere.

She drank the cold liquid fast,
Which ran hard through every vain.
Now alone in the this dark, horrid place.
In the mud, with the pouring rain.

Now everyone can see today,
On this grave, her inscripted name.
Where she will lie forever there,
Each and everyday the same.
