give me a reason
to trust you in some way
'cause I no longer believe
anything that you say
too many times it's been
that I was misled
all traces of faith
replaced with doubts instead
imagine how it must have felt
to have feelings for you grow
and then I had to learn
you were just waiting to let me go
I was living your lie
where you had me believe
that we had it all
but you were just fooling me
why, I couldn't understand
this act you still defend
you were trying to protect me
but made it worse in the end
and still you aren't able
to give it to me straight
nothing is said without pretense
the truth always comes too late
give me a reason
to forgive these things you do
to see again the good within
and not turn my back on you

this was such a true and excellent write I enjoyed and I am going thru the same. Advice on the situation if you got any I am completely twisted up but comforting (although unfortunate) someone out there going thru it too. Much love and hope for your future no luck it only means chance to me.
