A misunderstanding is all it is
Or at least that's what I tell myself
What you think is your free will
But that's no reason to ignore me
& leave me in the dust
You can't prevent my neediness
It's something I have to control
& so far I've failed in doing so
It's a powerful drug
& you're my dealer
I just hope I'm the only one
Who's fallen so damned hard
You haven't helped me recover
I'm trying to break my addiction
I do things less & less
Don't leave me like this
I need you so badly
Infatuation has surpassed me
I'm no longer a child
I'm a full grown woman
With needs...
With desires...
With hunger...
With thirst...
For you
Feed me every last bite
Drink me the last drop
Undress my last linen
Kiss my every last inch
Leave me wanting more
It was a misunderstanding
& you're my pill to swallow
I'm an insatiable junkie
You left me wanting more
I'm sorry for my demeanor
