Raw shivers up my spine,
Hands trembling like the lips of a first kiss,
Mirrored dreams being shattered,
Bringing a lifetime of bad luck.
Drops of rain on the window,
Imitate my tears,
Look at them closer,
They look like little pearls.
That bird perched on the wall,
Do u think it comprehends?
That its enclosed in pure evil?
Surrounded by corruption and sin?
The carpet on my bedroom floor,
Its not completely blameless,
Its harsh. It can burn your feet,
Like theyre rapid tyres in a dry road
These tender gashes on my body,
Symbols of frenzy and destruction,
Indications of the Devil,
Subverting Gods creation
Its Nas who said the words-
People fear what they dont understand,
Hate what they cant conquer
I fear myself.
But Im longing to understand,
I hate this eternal burden,
But that wont stop my fight
The rain eventually stops falling,
The tears eventually stop dropping,
The blood eventually stops flowing,
But the soul; It lives forever.
