Remember when I screamed,
"I will never love you?"
Remember when I turned my back,
Refusing to be broken
Well I remember
I can visualize the exact moment
When I gave up hope
When I turned back around
To face you
As you ran away
I screamed once more
To see your face
You only came closer
As you drifted away
Cutting your way through my flesh
Each time,
Closer to my wrist
Remember when I screamed,
That I would never care?
Remember when I lied?
I remember when I turned my back
Not wnating to be hurt
But I turned around to face you
I let you enter my soul, my mind
Gave you my trust
But you through it all away
Looks like I made the same mistake
I vowed not to make
Once again,
I'm broken
