This skin has gone sour
Rotting flesh as I sit in dismay
It's different than the last time
It's a whole other day
But it feels like the last time
When my skin began to peel
It's not the pain that drives me
It's the things I just love to feel
When my eyes just go crazy
And I can feel the awful sting
It's then when I realize
That my phone will never ring
You've run away
Cursed me and all my forgotten dreams
I'm still warm here without you
And you've been gone for forever it seems
I rejected all your values
And I found myself stuck in myself
I'd crush my own heart for you
And I'd crush it for no one else

| I like this poem.. To me it describes being hurt by someone you love,.but thats just what i got from it. Great write and exspressing emotions. |
