SHOUT FOR JOY AND BE GLAD

Contributed by joe-joe on Friday, 24th September 2004 @ 05:59:22 PM in AEST
Topic: spiritual

Shout for joy and be glad,

For this is the day that the Lord has made, rejoice and be glad in it!

Though the day be full of troubles and turmoil, fueling the fear of all the people,

Nevertheless, do not let it stop your praise,

Lift your voice as a trumpet with the voice of triumph, for the dead shall be raised!

Continually shout for joy and be glad even in the midst of chaos and out of your daily haze and fog,

Moreover, the Lord shall purify your heart and rid your soul of every moth and bog!

When it seems you have prayed every prayer that you know how to pray,

And you have done everything that you know how to do, then just listen and obey:

Shout for joy and be glad,

Rejoice in the Lord forevermore, for your salvation is nearer than when you first believed,

Get ready for a blessing; get ready for a real and true blessing,

A blessing so great and so precious that you want be able to fathom or even perceive!

Shout for joy and be glad,

Do not allow the headlines to fill your heart with fear, but listen and His sweet voice shall whisper into your ear:

Telling you the true tale of love, a love so great and so grand that He gave everything to secure our salvation and redemption,

He gave his life upon a lifeless tree on a hill called Calvary,

Giving us all power over our enemies and complete and total victory

Shout for joy and be glad,

For this is the day that the Lord has made, rejoice and be glad in it!
