It seems the time we have together is limited
and it goes by so fast,
I wish it could be longer,
But then I know we that both have a long way to go
from where we are.
We can make no committments to each other
Because it hurts too much to break them,
And the future is still unknown to us.
So instead we settle for simply sharing our lives
While we plan our future separately,
although we're together.
There is one thing though, that I want you to know
before time has a chance to pull us apart-
A promise that will never be broken by my heart....
Even though we become different people in different places,
And lose sight of each other in the future,
Still...the past cannot be erased,
And there will always be a part of you
that will be with me forever.
