Eulogies and Memories

Contributed by AndTheFoolShallBurn on Sunday, 26th September 2004 @ 08:30:46 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

My best friend dies last Tuesday. It was a sunny day, but I feel sick as I remember our last words.I wish to have never been silent, and I think of all the wasted "I love you's." Your memory makes me flinch and your words are eulogies for my heart.

But I'm still waiting for the time to mend this loss, to take back the death that we've become. I never meant for this to happen, but now it's like you never cared.

I'm so 'freaking' confused. I don't know what's happening in my life, so I drink the thoughts away. Please come back to me...
