I can't stand it
please make it stop
anything to make the pain
disappear and go away
it never ceases
it's an endless cycle
no matter what I do
I end up thinking about you
even the good memories
they quickly turn sour
because I soon remember
how things went asunder
I can't do anything
without being reminded
the wound gets torn open
over and over again
it won't leave me alone
and it will persist forever
nothing I try to do
makes it any better
I can't stand it
I need to make it stop
anything to make the pain
go away forever
how many pills would it take
to make me completely numb?
how much longer will it be
before I finally succumb?
