Circle The Blue

Topic: happypoetry

Wish I could see right past your blue eyes
I'd pluck that moment right from the stem
Give you a rose so beautiful
More beautiful to me than it ever was to them

The blue that surrounds the moonlight
It's night and even if we could never see
You make my world more beautiful
More beautiful than I could ever be

It's moonlight that should haunt me
And I know of haunting to let you reassure
If I could gather all the pain you'd ever have to face
I'd be the one that would search for the cure

But nothing could compare to it
That feeling as I love to sit and drive
Right on through the new day
You make me feel alive

I can feel the warmth inside you
As I squint to the setting sun
Your hand falls into place on mine
And at that moment, I know that the will was done

For through this moment I met you
And forget it, I never ever could
I'd meet you in forever
And you always knew that I always would

A captivating piece.
Very well-written. Has a tender, imaginative
feel to it.
I liked the first two stanzas a lot.
