autumn is here now
the tree's lifted
of the leaves that are left
scattered along the floor
the summer has gone
and so has the sun
the rays no longer shine
upon my shoulders
or light your face
autumn is the season of death
and my spirit drags with the leaves
wasted are these feelings
that cant ever be used
wasted is this body if it cant be with you
why do we hurt when we feel?
why does this heart burn and yearn
my feelings like the seasons uncontrollable
wrapped it guilt but never remorse
you leave me torn
between summer and autumn
