The Red Hunger...

Contributed by FleurdeSang on Tuesday, 28th September 2004 @ 03:18:25 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

The hunger inside given to me,
Makes me what I am...
Something's always calling me,
For the blood of man...
That tantalizing scarlet essence,
Dripping so gracefully down your chest,
I drew my mark, my beautiful moon, the Muse,
Now you're mine forever...
I take from you what life you have left,
I steal a glimpse into your obscure soul...
Dark, like a bottomless pit, endless night...
Now I know how you received your name....
The night is young, innocent, pure,
Untainted by the monstrosities...
I spread my disease,
Marking what is now mine...
I give it to those who are worthy of it,
The ones that I had much pleasure in destroying,
And re-creating...
My child, my student, my slave...
I am your Mistress of the Night,
Your perpetual mother and lover...
I will show you my ways,
My sadistic, sinister ways...
I will teach you of the past,
Of what you are...
A creature known by many names throughout the Imperium,
But most commonly by the ancient name,
Vampyre...
A monster, an end to all of God's precious creations...
I wouldn't consider it like that...
I say it's a new beginning,
Another life, a gorgeous renewal of the mind, body and soul...
I am the Soul-less One,
I am your long-awaited Death...
How sweet it is to die,
By a vampyre's kiss...
Drink from me, precious chasseur d'obscurit,
Taste my black soul,
Let it linger in you,
Savor it, cherish it,
For it is the most exquisite of all wines...
Your heart beat is faint,
A soft ticking, like a slowly dying clock...
Your death is quite near,
Until the next nightfall will you rise,
A creature of the Darkness, no longer will you hunt them...
Your senses sharp, your lust unbearable,
And the Red Hunger will course through you for all eternity...

Welcome, dearest hunter of mine, to my crimson realm...

Exquisite ~ your recent entries steal away the words that so readily flow from my tounge ... I am left with but a breath that ebbs slowly past my lips untill my body recalls through breath I live, and I pull a ragged hesitant gasp only to repeat the pattern as I read your words again. Beautiful Steph
