I need you like I need my heart, To keep me alive, we cant be apart. Without you, life is old, nothing new. Life is unbearably empty without you. You own my life, my heart, my soul. You are that which makes me whole. I love you more than I love myself, I'd die for you without a second thought. My love for you is never unfelt, It is never gone, it is never naught. I want only to be with you, To be with you through and through. To spend my life with you, my love, Would be beautiful, like a dove. And yet, we seperated by many miles, Yet will our love never be beguiled. Someday, we will meet, 'twill be splenderous, Nothing, nothing, nothing will hinder us. I love you Laura, you are my dearest. I'll love you yet through darkest and clearest. Though they make falacies, lying, My love is with you, always, undying.

The allegorical meaning throughout the poem, although generally well sustained, is not always so....The third stanza embodies a fine idea, beautifully expressed |
