Romero's Quest The Rise of Corron Damia

Darius stepped into the ancient tomb
all was dark and full of gloom
fell voices of evil in the air
The evil sorcerer''s back to him
Darius was surprised by how close he got
In striking distance with just one shot
to free his kingdom from the terrible dark
wrought in the evil black sorcerer.
He unsheathed his sword and with a mighty thrust
Jabbed his sword through the sorcerer's heart
who fell to the ground his clothes went flat.
Darius knew his fate from this augur
Laughter echoed off the walls
as the sorcerer''s clothes spun on the floor
with centrepital force the brave knight was thrown
to the cavernous wall of the tomb
His eyes widened as the clothes took form
a darkened figure stood as before
and though his face could not be seen
a wicked smile could be perceived
Lightening filled the darkened room
amidst the cackles of reproof
from the evil sorcerer who ruled the world
"A hundred more will die with thee"
Corron Through his dark magic would rule the 5 towns and it's surrounding area for another 800 years until a young wizzards apprentice named Romero of Cyregon would undo his acts of evil.

Although provincial in scope, its refreshing to find an evil antagonist not obsessed with megalomania over their known world. It would also, assumedly, make the story easier to write in verse, i'm sure. I also find it atmospheric, but am concerned by this line;
"and though his face could not be seen
a wicked smile could be perceived"
Does this mean his entire face? Or does it mean the wizard was entirely invisible and we are given the eerie impression of a wicked smile? Its a little ambiguous for me.
Will follow this one, though Archie.
