Illusions of all

Contributed by brew on Thursday, 30th September 2004 @ 03:56:57 PM in AEST
Topic: fantasy

Moonlight, and all its glow
One who watches, wants to know
Is there, any way ,one can see
As far as the moon seems to be
You look and stare and it seems , so close
But in the heart you know its all a hoax

I like it. It's simple and focused; mysterious.

Very creative! It's complex in its simplisity. I thank you for sharing. Great job!.... Oh one more thing. Thank you for the post on my poems but if you could, I hope you could go back to read "Scent of a Woman". I posted something up there that I should have posted before. It explains the poem in more detail and other poems like "Now I Lay". But anyway, Great poem and I'll be reading more to come...

A very true poem. This posseses a depth because of the many things it does not say. Each person can apply the words to his/her own situation. Great write.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
