Spend time hoping for peace
dreaming about an escape
wondering when i'll get the idea
and finally forget this hate
its been a dark and lonley road
why can't i wake up
i guess i'm tired from this long fight
poision in a cup
Just want to end this so-called life
put away this angry strife
bottle the bomb that's ticking inside
and continue to walk while trying to hide
Spend time hoping for sanity
ignoring distorted faces
cackles and catcalls echoing 'round
on and on it chases
its been a dark and lonley road
why can't I wake up
i guess i'm tired from this long fight
the dark is close enough
Just want to end this so-called life
put away this pain and strife
bottle this bomb that's ticking inside
and continue to walk with time to bide
Spend time in the mirror
practice your ugly smirk
ready again to beat me down
and hit me where it hurts
its been a dark and lonley road
why don't you wake up
i guess i'm tired from this long fight
it was you who screwed up
Just want to stop this so-called life
finally gonna use this knife
the bottles have exploded inside
and now its your turn
