Time may pass
People may change
But this one thing will always remain
My love for you over all this time
Ive been honest and true since day one
As distance and time has passed on by
Our memories are still there, holding strong
The memories of how things once were
To the moments we had
To the times we shared
With the emptiness in my heart
With the tears that Ive cried
A part of my heart still belongs to you
Day by day goes by
And I still wonder and dream of what couldve been
And I remince about the time we spent together
As the monthes have rolled on
As minutes fly by
Ive become so caught up in my own life that youve slipped away
Maybe this is for the best
Now that you are no longer always on my mind
Ive had a change to move on
A chance to live my life again
A second chance for happiness
However, its not the same
I still remember how things were
My thoughts always end up back with you
How you would cuddle me and rub my back til I fell asleep
How you kissed me, how you held me close
No matter what you may say
A part of me will always be with you
As will you always be a part of me
Maybe one day you will be able to come to realize the love we couldve had
Maybe one day you will realize how bad you hurt me
But after everything Ive went through
Even though I still love you and always will
Maybe one day I wont be waiting for you anymore
Maybe one day you will feel how much it hurts to lose someone you loved so much!!
