Star Gazing

As I stare out at the stars I wonder
Are you out there somewhere thinking of me too?
Are you safe overseas?
Are you happy?

Do you miss me?
Did you love me?

Why did you leave?
What did I do wrong?

Something so beautiful, and yet so far away
How can they bring up all these emotions just by a glance

Love is like stars
They can be so distant, so far away
But you still dont stop trying to reach them
To make it yours and know it just wont disappear or go away

Im out here looking at the stars
Out there somewhere, you might be looking at the same ones too
Waiting for that shooting star to make my wish
My wish for you to come back to me

With any luck that star will fall to wherever you are
And you will realize that Im the one you always wanted
Then maybe we will no longer be staring at the stars alone
But I will be staring at them with you

Because then all my dreams and wishes will have came true
Because I would have you!!
