When I was young and growing up
In the land of opportunities
I had no hopes... I had no dreams
No goals in life... no self- esteem
To guide me down my path in this life
To arrive at this moment in time
To open up my heart and my mind
To the endless possibilities
That lay right inside me
Then you came and walked softly through my life
Leaving little tiny bits and pieces of yourself behind
Opening my eyes to a whole new world
That lay waiting right inside for me to find
You danced through all my hopes and dreams
Stirring up thoughts and memories
That I thought were long since dead and gone
That may, yet, one day become reality
'Cause you bring out the best in me
The best that's hidden deep inside
The who I am and want to be
You inspire my life... my dreams
You bring out these qualities
The best inside of me...
Inside my head... inside my mind
Lie the thoughts and feelings that I try to hide
The simple things of my life...
How can something so simple become so complicated
Just chalk it up as one of the little truths in life
The timeless moment...
When you entered my life
Has forever changed me
Bit by bit... piece by piece
Your beautiful eyes spoke to me
Inspiring me to try and write
All the thoughts and feelings long held deep inside
As if were destined to be
Your beautiful words were inspiring to me
They lit a little spark within my soul
Changed me and made me whole
You bring out the best inside of me

I have to agree with Calista....I had to look at the category while reading (to see if it was listed as song lyrics)....
This had a lovely flow to it and the words were so inspiring.. Thank you for sharing this...
