Continually letting you down
I cant seem to keep myself off the ground
You pull me and hold me tight
You told me you wanted to know that it was ok
You told me you were there
You wouldnt loosen your grip
You pulled me in and refused to let me go
I cried as I couldnt control
The emotions ran wild
I said it would be ok
That I would cut myself and get over it
I was to keep it in and not let you know
You let me go enough to look in my eyes
As if asking if I was telling you all
I wouldnt say I was nor would I say I wasnt
You told me that I need to let you know
That by not telling you I was pushing you away
I dont want to
I dont mean to
Let me cry for awhile
Then it will all be settled
A simple slice on the wrist
A cut deep enough to remember a lifetime

A very sad and emotional write. You do a good job of expressing your pain. By the way your writing about it and reaching out is a much better alternative to coping with your pain then cutting or contemplating suicide. I suspect that you may have a lot of anger, which perhaps you haven't completely dealt with as yet.
