We were most
Every day seemed to never end
Until we began to bend
Something got lost along the way
Just if we could be every day
Never has happiness felt so wrong
Never has misery felt so sweet
Happy days are over
The future is all we have

i love this poem. one of my favourites so far. it's short but holds so much emotion and feel to it. the last two words of "sweet dreams" rounds it all up and gives the poem a great finish.
