Remember when
I looked at you
it was then
you said you knew
Remember when
you held me tight
it was what you did
after I caused that fight
Remember when
I would always smile
it was then I said
I love you, and its only been a while
Remember when
I thought I did something wrong
but instead of getting mad
you laughed and wrote me a song
Remember when
you stole my heart
it was that, that kept
us from falling apart
Remember when
I sat by you in the hospital bed
you probably dont
because then you were dead

| My god, that's really strong. I've never had any loved ones die so I don't know what it feels like. But I know how I would feel if they ever did. Great poem. |
