Anniversary Tonight

Contributed by Night_Child on Sunday, 3rd October 2004 @ 09:30:33 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

It's our anniversary today
Once again I wasn't with you
Once again I've been crying for hours

I wish for just one thing
On this day
Nothing else
But to be with you
Be in your warm arms

If I could see 8000 sunsets
Or all caged animals set free
None would compare to that time
Spent looking deep into your eyes
As I lay down beside you
Under crimson skies

I've said a million times
I love you
But I feel thats not enough
Maybe I'll just
Tell you a million more times
Would that get the point across?

On this anniversary night
I'll whisper 1000 times goodnight
And tell the night how much I love you
Hoping maybe my voice would be
Heard in your heart

Happy anniversary
To the one I love more than any
Starlight night
Wild horse
Romantic kiss
To you
My on true love
