Topic: ThankYouPoems

What you've done for me I could never describe
You've seem to forgiven all my dumb lies
Just when I thought you had let me go
You rescued me your love did show

I'll never understand I can't comprehend
Why to me you lent a helping hand
When all hope and faith were gone
You were there...with love for me all along

I know one thing for sure
My prayers were answered when I saw you walk thru that door
A blessing I will hold closest to my heart
A love I've learned a father, and daughter should never be apart

I am sorry for all my ways
Especially, most recent painful days
Although, Thank-you seems to little to say
Just know how much I love you each and everyday.

This is so gracious, and heartfelt.....when a parent receives such a poem from their child, you can't possibly image how it pulls at their heart strings! Now that I know your true story Theresa let me commend you for your great bravery............and for the marvelous love that you now share with a wonderful father who surely did CARE!
This is a rivoting love story indeed!
Very enjoyable!
Warm love to you and your father too!

Hmmm....looks like some of the old man rubbed off after all ;)

Thank you not only for the poem but for making the effort I always knew you were capable of.
