Nothing Left

Contributed by the_fallen on Monday, 4th October 2004 @ 08:16:38 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Life is a river of fate
Endless flow, changing, yet nothing
I sit and bite my tongue
The pieces I cast out so dear
Bound I am to this disillusionate life
Those scattered pieces are all that remains
Gone bound lost, lies of self-destruction
Keep them here, close and unknown
Rip it out and show you
Your self-inflicted love
Rip it out and bind it down
Ill never tell, you know
Hide it away, fester, burn
Let it fall apart
Rotting in the air
A deep found hate, its all the same
Im drowning away
But theres nothing left of me anyway

a soul searching reality comes out of this poem, i

look at it and as i read it, i feel not your frustration,

but more of your desperation, a quest 2 survive, in

world, where every has died 4 u, your a verry good

writter, and there in is your salvation, u just don't

know it yet, and that may be the biggest irony, 4 at

times, the greatest sucsess, is failure it self . . .

This poem pretty much sums up how I feel....I can totally relate. All I can say is that you write well and that you NEED to keep writing. You have talent man...whether you think so or not....you do. Thanks for posting this poem....I don't feel so alone anymore.
