Someone pulled the trigger
two people wound up dead
One shot in the heart
the other in the head
Nobody saw it happen
the perpetrator got away
For the innocent man and woman
it was not their lucky day
Can you imagine how many times
this story has been told
How Someone gets away with murder
after having been so bold
As to have taken away two lives
God's gift to both of them
A terrible crime like this
with no one to condemn
