Rumsfeld says he's seen no strong proof tying Hussein, al-Qaeda

Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld said yesterday that he had seen no 'strong, hard evidence' linking Saddam Hussein and al-Qaeda, although he tempered his comment by noting that stark disagreements on that issue remained among American intelligence analysts.
'I have seen the answer to that question migrate in the intelligence community over the period of a year in the most amazing way,' Rumsfeld said when asked about ties between Hussein and the terror network run by Osama bin Laden. Senior administration officials cited the existence of ties between them as a rationale for war on Iraq.

Well, well, now we hear some surprise
It makes a change from bare-faced lies
Well then, what was this all about?
If of terror links there was such doubt?
This was about a political NEED
To be seen to perform some 'strong' DEED
That was how Bush had it READ
Now 1,000 U.S. soldiers are stone cold DEAD
This is a fact you ought to know
As into danger today again you go
Your leaders have led you by their lies
Into a war we all despise
It was not decent, it was not right
It came from minds black as night
Your leaders are liars and thats a fact
They had no cause for this attack
There was no link to the terrorist clan
No risk from WMD to any man
9/11 was nothing to do with Iraq
Bush just lied to then attack
You have been stood direct in harms way
For the sake of a political power play
Bush had to do something and he did this
He didnt care it was YOU took the risk
Pushed by hawks into unnecessary war
This was what all the lies were for
Because of Neocons and pre-prepared plans
Your buddies now die in foreign lands

Most Iraqies like the soldiers for what they did.God bless the U.S.A. Right or wrong we are there and cannot cut and run now.NO ! I didn't vote for Bush,but he is our elected President. Live with it.
