Nostalgic
|
Only when I was a child
Everything seemed to be so right
No matter what I said
No matter if you weren't there
Cause I never cared.
Only when I was a child
Words just came out right
And smiles upon my face
And sun into my eyes
Just lit up my life.
Only when I was a child
I ran among the fields
I kept my thoughts hidden
And went on laughing
With my old toys
As if I was swimming in rivers of joy.
Now all my memories
They fade away
As if they weren't so true
so clear,so alive...
True,clear,alive
in my teenager mind.
