Pull Me Inside (Your Grace-Embrace)

Contributed by Lee on Tuesday, 5th October 2004 @ 08:13:55 AM in AEST
Topic: spiritual

It started out just like any other day
Then you met a woman who was half-crazed
She says she's got troubles
She says she's got fears
She says she hears voices
Sinking in to her ears

Pull me inside, oh Lord
Take the the doubts & struggles away

Now you have
Pulled me inside
Your Grace-Embrace
You've lit the Light
You've shown the way
You have dispersed
My mental decay

It started out like any other day
Then you met a leper with scars on his face
He says he's got troubles
He just cannot face
His skin is so rotten
His life is turned to waste

Pull me inside, oh Lord
Take the doubts & struggles away

Now you have
Pulled me inside
Your Grace-Embrace
You've lit the Light
You've shown the way
You have dispersed
My physical decay

Pull me inside
Pull me inside, oh Lord
Pull me inside
Your Grace-Embrace, oh Lord Jesus

It started out just like any other day
Then you heard a crowd shouting your name
They said that Lazaraus has died and cannot be saved
They even accused you, the Messiah, of being too late
But then you were able to have him rise
Right before their very eyes
Death did not take its toll
For you saved yet another soul
From an earthly grave
And gave him the chance for a heavenly fate

Pull me inside, oh Lord
Take the doubts & struggles away

Now you have
Pulled me inside
Your Grace-Embrace
You've lit the Light
You've shown the way
You have dispersed
My spiritual decay

My gratitude is meaningless
If in you I'm not truly saved
That is why
(I plead you to)
Pull me inside
Pull me inside
Pull me inside
Pull me inside, oh Lord
Pull me inside
Pull me inside
Your Grace-Embrace
Your Grace-Embrace, oh Lord Jesus

I enjoyed this list poem, I especially liked the part about Lazarus.
Good writing!
