PRAISE, WORSHIP AND PRAISE

Contributed by joe-joe on Tuesday, 5th October 2004 @ 04:24:40 PM in AEST
Topic: spiritual

There is a fire burning way down deep in my soul,

A fire burning with praise, worship and praise with joy that will never fade,

Burning so brightly that it has enlightened all my darkness,

Giving me a heart that is humble and that will never be a afraid

I will lift my voice with praise, worship and praise:

Blessing the goodness only found in the Goodness of God, our righteousness and peace,

He is the founder and maker of the earth and all the things that are therein,

He will stick closer than any brother and be a true and trusted friend!

See the miracles of His hand, witness His glory in the cry of a newborn child,

He will tame the salvage beast, and bring civilization to the wild!

The meek shall inherit the earth; let us therefore lift our voices in praise, worship and praise:

God is our banner and creator; He has created us for His own glory,

Let us live the true-life found only in the gospel story,

For He has given us the quickening power to quicken us to live this grace-filled life,

No force or foe will be able to stand before us; they will tremble in fear as we give Him praise, worship and praise:

For when we lift our voices, they will be destroyed, and then shall we take away the spoil,

No longer in fear and in intimidation, shall we toil!
