farewell

why do I feel so lonely inside
why does my heart have on pride
why do I feel I can lose control
why dont I try and let it blow
I was afraid of letting go
now my heart feels like a big black whole
I want to see him but I cant
because I know I have no chace
I want to love him but I cant
because he holding her hand
and now I cry alone at night
because I was once by his side
and now I feel so traped inside
because he was once by my side
and now I no I'm such a fool
for letting him fall in love with you
we were so happy all the time
until you came and took what was mine
he said he loved me and that he would be in my hearts and dreams
why dont you just let me be
and take the memories that r haunting me
how dare she try to take whats mine
when I was just #1
and how dare he even sleep
leaving me here to weap
with no one but myself
and the memories of me with him
while she is sleeping by his side
he leaves me here crying through the night
but he'll be back have no fear
because she is never really there
and when he does I'll say farewell
and live the night
like something right
and then I'll tie the knot with you
and what was there be there no more
because I love you and I shall
util the day you say farewell

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
