Spiders weaving their webs in my mind,
Making my sanity harder & harder to find,
All day & all night the weave & spin,
Never feeling tired & never giving in.
Nothing seems clear to me anymore,
Spiders have climbed inside my pores,
Scurrying about relentlessly in my brain,
Making their poison flow through my veins.
I can feel them moving about deep inside,
When I go to look for them they hide,
Leaving me chasing my own tail,
To stop them plotting I always fail.
At night I can hear & feel them the most,
They move about like little, black ghosts,
I know theyre there but I just cant see,
Why do these things have to live inside me?
They make my bones chill & my skin crawl,
They just sit & wait for me to weaken & fall,
Weaving their silky, white webs of deceit,
Away at my sanity the spiders continue to eat.
