Did you ever wake up in the morning
wondering what to do
The list is so very long
it will surely occupy you
Should you cut the grass
or start by cleaning the house
Maybe set a trap
for That Elusive Little Mouse
You should really get a cat
to be sure to accomplish this
Traps don't always work
the cat will never miss
That Elusive Little Mouse
can be seen on the run
Scampering all about
having lots of fun
The cat will stalk this mouse
and spring upon him quick
That Elusive Little Mouse
will be gone in just one lick
