Beating-Hearts
Beating hearts, alone in the night,
Reaching out, feelings so right,
Knowing passion, first time lovers,
Ever lasting, finding each other.
Beating hearts, with no understanding
Cling together, emotions so demanding
Holding each moment, they grew closer together,
Still so young, remembering forever.
Beating hearts, alone in the night,
Reaching out, truth nowhere in sight,
Forgetting the love, that once was there,
Just wanting out, you don't really care.
Beating hearts, dreams fade away
Left with the memories
We made yesterday.
