Grief

Mourning, grieving, dressed in black- All because you'll never come back. I went to say my last goodbye, How could they come high? I stood there, in that room Smelling of flowers, salt and death So that I could see you before you were at your tomb. I couldn't bring myself to walk over, At least not alone, so I walked with her. But it wasn't right, no it was all wrong Because normally you would be playing guitar and singing a song This was different Your body lie cold and lifeless, fingers straight, not bent. So unatural, cold to the touch. This made me cry far too much. I didn't want to be there, but I just couldn't leave Because I wanted to make sure you'd recieve All my tears and prayers that you were heaven. I cried so much, because I loved you, Kevin.
