my angel of the hallway

Contributed by socialmisfit on Friday, 8th October 2004 @ 10:35:44 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Once upon a day,
Daydreaming in my head
Longing for love to appear,
My heart full of hope,
My mind full of dread.

my hour in class grew late,
And we started to leave,
Then I saw through the crowd,
Something I couldnt believe.

A beautiful creature,
Whose face was glory to behold,
With a golden aura shining from her soul,
She seemed to glow in the light.
And make my heart complete

So gracefully she moved,
Down the hall, right up to me,
Neither my heart nor head,
Knew what to think.

Her beauty was great,
A sensual gleam filled her eyes.
And I was much saddened,
When she walked right by.

I never told anyone,
What I had seen,
For I knew not,
What my feelings did mean.

But in my heart that day,
I shall always remember,
The beauty I had witnessed
And in my soul a great love was born,
