It happens for a reason
you can't stop it, you can't
It's there for a reason
you can't cry but you do
Faith is beside you
she rests in your bed
The clarity dissolves
in the depths of your head
The gem of your approach
the belief of not believing
The jewel on which you choke
creates an endless bleeding
Beyond reasoning there's a wandering
of restless souls in your farthest plane
Beats the heart of a dying something
against the pounding of the rain
The windows are always closed
The door is always locked
Your steering wheel it smothers
Crushed beneath the rocks
of the depth of your mind empty
So wasted and scorched
So faded, so shallow
Derailed off course
