Letters to God

I looked in wonder around the room, the golden floor, the spotless walls. In the centre, the enormous cupboard, full of letters, letters to God. I thought of how great a christian I must have been, all those prayers, that cupboard was overflowing. Then, in the corner I noticed a box, it had letters too, although, only a few. I asked God what it was, and he answered me, so quietly. He started to speak, and I leaned closer so I could hear, he said, My child, you already know, those were the prayers, in which you thanked me.

Lovely poem and very true, how much we ask in need yet we forget in the good times.
Take Care
