Grief

These tears
they burn
like the red hot fire
of hell
they tear at my flesh
ripping it from my bones
scorching my soul
they bury me
under their hurt and pain
drowning my existance
under a wave of regret
I try
so hard
to stop
crying
but I can't
I am weak
I break and fall
my hand reaches out
for anyone
to pull me from this torment
but everyone else
is already gone
