Crescent Moon

Contributed by Hosea on Sunday, 10th October 2004 @ 09:19:59 AM in AEST
Topic: war

Visions of the cresent moon
Gives me all the wanted truth
My welcome here is over-used
Leaving would be the wisest move
This symbol represents this land
So, who am I to alter man?
Though I play the part of fool
I have no appeals in their renewal
This is why I stand alone
The welcome that I lost was home
The part of me that wants to cry
Is the part of me that is subject to die
The part of me I cannot free
Is the part of me that curses me
Asking self to settle please
Take no faults to what you've seen
However, you're an added soul
God forbid they box you home
Then you become a soldier squared
With more than just your hearing impaired
There you are The Forgotten Corpse
And to think your employers felt remorse
The only ones who cared was blood
Yours was the only life they judged
You meant more than just a flag
You were even a hero in th eyes of your Dad
The day has come and you were lost
To them a legend, but to others forgot
The day has come and you were lost
To them a legend, but to others forgot

-Mr. Murdock
