Which Way To Go

Contributed by Yousef on Monday, 11th October 2004 @ 04:44:29 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

For the first time in my life I really dont know
For the first time in my life I cant find which way to go
I need to know should I follow my heart or should I follow my mind
Should I keep chasing this mirage or should I leave that past behind
Should I admit that being together was never meant to be?
Should I save all my love for someone who loves me?
Should I try with her one last time or should I leave
Should I fight for her or should I admit that getting to her heart is something I cant achieve
But why should I try? While she doesnt even care
Why am I torturing my self? Thats just not fair
I hear an echo in mind saying wake up man
Wake up from this dream and leave while you still can
Saying if you followed your heart you may lose it forever
But if Im going to follow my heart then its either now or never
I hear the echo saying: leave, dont stay
Leave and you might find a love thats real one day
God I really need your help, I really need to know
I need to know whats best for me; I need to know which way to go

with every decision there are always regrets and you will never travel a billion routes that branch off the other one. life is based on choices. make the choice that suits you and your future best. hearts heal, but does the wondering ever stop...?

Why not love them all at once?
