stare into my own
reflected by tears
that were once my soul
i'm scared to blink
cause i might disappear
become trapped inside my reflection
on the wrong side of the mirror
always on the wrong side of life
and my soul
trapped in these tears
will wash away
as the mirror breaks like my heart
shatters into a million pieces
a million little me's
but which one's the right one?
which one's the real me?
how can i find myself
when i don't even know who i am
my eyes do not show the inside
i cannot see past them
or seep through them
but i know only emptiness lies inside
i've cried away my soul
in bloody tears
that stain my shards
that can never be put back together
now my soul is on the wrong side of the mirror and here i am
still stuck on the wrong side of life
and i can never
be put back together ........
