My Departed Angel, My Sister

Contributed by lonesister_145 on Monday, 11th October 2004 @ 09:45:42 PM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

She was born October 8th 1975.
She left us September 24 2004.
My dear sister I will miss you.
I wish I could of told you that I loved you one last time.
Hilda I don't know what I am going to do without you.
How am I going to make it through?
You were my strength.
You were my guiding light.
You had a smile that was so bright.
So full life.
You made it through all your trials and strifes.
You did't let this life get you down.
Wouldn't let it make you frown.
But now that you are gone my life has been turned upside down.
I am the one wearing the frown.
What am I suppose to do without you?
I know that you are in a better place.
I know I'll someday get to see your smiling face.
Until that day I will just have to wait.
Until I die and stand at Heaven's gate.
I know in my heart that you will be there.
And everything that I know will be fair..

A touching poem, im so sorry for your loss. But in time your wounds will heal and you'll remember the good times you had with your sister.
