I sit down and wait. for my sinous cry. i look to the encrusted stars in the velvet sky. for hope to hold me safe and sound. for a better day in the night to be found.
footsteps creep from past the valley. pounding of my heart is more than to see, the heavy breathing unable to slow. they come to kill, they bring torches that glow.
i am dead no longer alive. took one last step. i took one last dieve. they come for me they do, they will end my life and yours too.
then sun wavers, it begins to come. the ending to life, something to succumb. a sweet melody i begin to hum. as i stand slowly hum and await the dumb.
The bells are heard, and the cries are shouted. the people in the cages have been counted. as a witch i stand innocent. at dawn i hang, my neck ripped with an expent dying as a salem witch is not a beautiful scent.
