Each moment of the day
passes with such sorrow
knowing I will not see you
I feel there is no tomorrow
Waking each day
knowing you were there
made me feel so warm inside
cause I thought I knew you cared
Now the days go by so slow
each moment that I live
seeing only emptiness
wanting to forgive
Not knowing now that you are true
makes me so confused
I feel I cannot trust you
my heart you have abused
Never would I do this
you know I tell the truth
for hurting someone's heart
would be so completely uncouth
I know you say your sorry
and I try hard to believe
but deep inside I hurt
it takes time when you've been decieved
So bare with me if you can
I want to be your friend
it just takes alittle time
for a heart to completely mend
